"On ne pourrait pas se sentir plus en Italie que dans la maison de Massimo. On est dans du traditionnel, le charme désuet. Une vue a couper le souffle. D'abord sur les vignes puis au loin les Alpes et le Monviso. Le calme est absolu. Pour les soirs les plus frais, la cheminée est top. Particulièrement adaptée pour des séjours en famille ou entre bons amis, deux des chambres étant en enfilade."

However, after renting holiday properties for almost 15 years we dare say that this one has let us down in several aspects. First and foremost it is not equipped sufficiently to serve 4 adults leave alone the 8 advertised. I.e. we only found a 2 cup Bialetti Mokka maker and a 4 cup filter coffee maker in the entire house; there were only 4 big coffee mugs for all...

"Lovely old villa located in the midst of the grape vines just outside Canelli. Gated (electric) entrance with plenty of parking inside the wall. Beautiful views across the valley with vineyards, hazelnut trees, and a local flock of sheep! Tricky 1.5 km drive up a narrow road with lots of twists and turns to get to the villa, but you get used to it after a day or two! Diane and Brian were excellent hosts and most gracious, very willing to answer all our questions, make recommendations, and help...

The pool and pool area are lovely, and outside in the garden it's very tranquil with amazing views out across the mountains towards Dogliani, the nearest town of any size."

"Ruhiger und entspannter, ursprünglicher Ort für erholsame Ferien. Etwas abseits gelegen, dies sollte man bei täglichen Fahrtstrecken einberechnen. Dafür wundervolle Gastgeber, 2 tolle Hunde und viel Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit. Wir haben zudem viel gelernt über das Kultivieren von Haselnüssen - die Tour mit Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. "Ons verblijf in Casa di Yorik is heerlijk geweest. Een mooi huis, met grote slaapkamers en badkamers en met een goed uitgeruste keuken. Het heeft een grote tuin met een heerlijk zwembad. Het huis ligt vrij centraal voor een bezoek aan de verschillende dorpjes/steden en wijngebieden in de buurt. Complimenten voor de eigenaar Andrea! "Property located among vines and 1 km from Calosso centre and its limited bar although the ristorante d'elsa is 50m away and open for lunch. Various locations (Canelli, Stefano Belbo, Agliano, Moasca) are all within 5mls with all necessary facilities and services. A sufficiency of ristorante/agriturismi are scattered among the local countryside and small supermarket nearby with larger concern in Costigliole, 7kms away. If I ever fulfill my dream of owning a property in Italy a house such as this...

"We absolutely felt comfortable in this lovingly restored home near the center of La Morra. Pino and his wife were amazing hosts, met us when we arrived and he was even able to save us a parking space near the house to make it easier to unload our bags. Everything was absolutely clean and comfortable along with small comforts such as snacks for morning, coffee, and little touches like a chocolate on the pillow and dog bowls for our small dog.
