"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

"Had a great time again with our family and the dogs. The house may not be the most modern, but it’s clean and huge, and so is the domain with its large terrace and amazing view. Roberto and Alicia are very helpful and are very respectful for you privacy. The region is perfect for hiking and mountain biking, and the restaurants and shops are not very expensive. So I would truly recommend this place is your into the true Italian rural /nature experience . We will definitely come back."

He responded immediately to any questions we had and dealt with them promptly. The pool was always well maintained and a real treat. The view and the landscape are outstanding. We really enjoyed the peace and seclusion. We also used our accommodation as a base for many excursions to Florence, Siena, Anghiari, Pienza and Perugia. We would love to come back!"
