"This was my absolute favorite stay on the ring road! I wasn’t expecting much, just by the description and the few reviews that I read, but we really enjoyed the whole property. Check in was easy and they showed us around the property a bit before showing us to our room. The room we had was clean and comfortable. "For wanting to see the lava tube and the falls, this location was perfect for us. It all worked out well from a comfy bed to a nice breakfast. Dinner was also excellent. The only downside I can think of is that the rooms seemed a bit smaller than we experience at the other Fosshotel. Other than that, I highly recommend it. "

"The property is a bit outdated, the bathroom needs an upgrade, however the rooms are large, with mirrors, refrigerator, a small kitchenette. The breakfast was awesome the best we had in Iceland. Dinner was good however as a vegetarian my choices were extremely limited for a price of ISK 8900. We had a stopover for one night and had a comfortable stay."

"Very nice hotel, the restaurant was a little fancier then excepted but still had a nice kids menu. Did need to make reservations which was a little weird but not a huge issue. Breakfast buffet was very nice."
