"A rather old fashioned and somewhat dowdy hotel. Our room was somewhat antique, but clean with a modern bathroom. There were large windows and a glass door from outside into the room. We had to try several windows to find one that was open. There were large floor to ceiling curtains that were difficult to draw and did not properly cut out the outside light. There were few amenities provided in the room, limited toiletries, no bottled water, etc. There is a car park but we only managed to squeeze...
"This accommodation is very well located in the Kelso town square and within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and restaurants.The bakery to the left of the front door is outstanding for home cooked morning rolls and beautiful cakes.
Apartment 1 is spacious, clean and has everything you need despite the furnishings being a bit dated. Note this accommodation may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the stairs to all rooms. This is a great base for trips to Lindisfarne,Bamburgh...
