"If you are staying in the area, you must stay here. The family is so lovely, they met us to check in and to check out, to make sure we knew everything we needed about the property. Not only can you pick all the vegetables and fruits on the property, but you can fetch fresh eggs every day from the chicken coop. It was so fun for my city-kid 5 year old twin boys. The pool was great, as was the game room, my boys didn't ask about a screen once. It's in a great location to explore Douro Valley...

"As fotos não descrevem a real beleza da propriedade. Casa limpa, cuidada e com todos os utensílios necessários para refeições. Vista espetacular para a montanha e situada no meio do sossego! Ideal para uns dias desligados e de descanso. A piscina e o relvado enorme foi uma delícia para os pequenos! Adoramos cada momento! Comunicação fácil com a Cláudia que, esteve sempre disponível para o que precisamos. Obrigada!"

"Great location for access to airport and Porto. Beautiful two bed apartment with pool. Hosts were charming and spoke English. It was a perfect last night before our cruise, but would make a good base for exploring north of Porto."

"When we arrived at the property, Carmen and her lovely dogs welcomed us with open arms. It's located about 30 minutes from Porto and if you seek for peace and quit it's the best place to stay. The huge garden is so adorable. We enjoyed it a lot. Carmen is a very open-minded and friendly host. We will come back for sure. :-)"

"We had a fabulous time at casa do Monte! The villa is perfect for large families, well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. Marcus was very accommodating and even arranged for us to have a traditional Portuguese BBQ. I highly recommend this villa."
