"We enjoyed our stay in Colombo at Taj. It was conveniently located in a walking distance to One Galle face and overlooking the Galle face beach. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices from authentic Sri Lankan cuisine to Indian, Continental, bakery, ommolette station and a kids friendly waffle station. The staff at breakfast buffet special mentioning to Indunil, Asanga, Yasiru and Bhagya who were accommodating to our 2 year old son and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The floor staff of our suite was exceptional, with a special thanks to Jeewani and Udesh who were kind with a special gesture of presenting our toddler with toys, and also the prompt house keeping from Sithara and Pamod. The room service food was presented well every time in less than 1 hour and with an extra side dish. Every staff member went the extra mile to make sure we had the most comfortable and enjoyable time at Taj. Definitely returning with family for the next trip."

"We returned to this hotel because we liked it so much, and again loved the location and surroundings of it. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Due to the public holidays, it was very busy this time and the breakfast room seemed a bit overwhelmed, plus it was difficult to get a towel"
