"We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we wanted! We felt isolated from the world but had enough to do around us that kept us thoroughly entertained. The hot tub wasn’t one of those run down ones, it was nice, fancy, and worked like a charm. The grill needed cleaning but that’s usually the case with most rental grills. It also came with all ware so we didn’t need to bring anything except charcoal, light fluid, and firewood/kindling for the fire."

"My hubby & I were so in need of a peaceful trip and we were not disappointed! The property was lovely & we enjoyed the seclusion! Our pup & I reveled in the calm of the river space & nature. The only thing we would change was the weather, but no way to do that, is there? This is a great space for couples or families! We’ll stay again earlier in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful pool!"

"It was a nice quiet night. We like to watch tv in bed so that was a drawback since there aren’t any in the bedrooms but it was still nice. The deck needed a little cleaning and maybe some better chairs. But again we did not spend much time there. "

"Everything was exactly as advertised - clean, cozy, and fully stocked with everything you need for a nice break from the grind. The cabin was idyllic and in a peaceful, quiet area (while being close enough to town that you can easily pick up anything you want that isn’t provided). The area does have poor mobile/cell service but in my opinion, that’s an upside. Host does offer free wifi so if you must be connected, that’s an option. Highly recommend. "

"This location was so beautiful and was perfect for our kids (ages 6 and 9). We enjoyed hearing the stream and the fire, laying in the hammocks, exploring the creek, and watching the horses. The hosts were very attentive. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance."

"Such a lovely home! The home itself was very clean and well stocked. Everything was in order when we got there and was ready for us. It's a short drive into Mt. Airy. The view from the back porch is wonderful. Those sunsets! We talk a walk each evening through the vineyard and it was so lovely. It was a wonderful stay, and we would be lucky to stay there again if we ever passed through. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Winsome View was incredibly nice. We mingled hiking at nearby Hanging Rock State Park with sitting outside enjoying the pastoral surroundings. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did have her say but the hosts did everything possible that, rain or shine, we had a relaxing and enjoyable visit. I, particularly, enjoyed “exploring” the surrounding fields and woods. From all the amenities, it is obvious that Laurel and Jason know how to entertain. We’d like to return…"
