Hotel was decent. The person working the front desk was a little odd - he seemed annoyed that I did not download the Marriott app to check in. I never would have known to download it, and isn't that his job? He was not overly friendly either. Room was small and a little dated, but overall was a good experience, as we were out exploring and only used the hotel to sleep at night.

We selected the hotel based on location but it also met our needs. Central location, multiple restaurants within walking distance of easy drive, a pool for our little, breakfast, and can’t say enough positive things about the service, cleanliness, and convenience of setup and location. Overall stay was comfortable. Stayed here while volunteered with Samaritans purse helping with hurricance disaster relief. Some staff very helpful others not so much. Overall breakfast was good. Bed was very comfortable.

I love the people that were at the front desk. The parking lot was cramped and not enough parking at the front of the property. The room was a little musty but they look that they are working on keeping up with the maintenance of the building. Overall I would go back to this hotel.

Maintenance and hygiene issues at the hotel

The room was small. Bathroom was everything good except the pot was so small it became very difficult to manage. I asked to room change but was told hotel was full. Fair enough. But I wasn’t told at checkin rooms will be cleaned only when requested. We stayed for 5 nights. When we did request it was cleaned. The common men’s bathroom was neglected for supplies and cleaning during my whole stay. Also, in the breakfast there were visibly rotten apples kept every day.

Positive side everything but my only concern is why the evening shift employee Brook denied having coffee at that time of the day when I asked for it around 6 pm, and when I turned around, there was a couple getting coffee from the dining area. I had just arrived and I did not see it from the front desk where I was standing. I am just wondering why she did that, that’s all. The rest of the stay was espectacular with the best breakfast available since the pandemic. Thank you so much.
