Spacious LOG Cabin ready to offer relaxation and comfort; perfect for large groups or a couples trip. The great room offers a gas fireplace, 70' smart tv with a16 foot spread of expansive views that lead out to a large covered porch.


Cabin has two master bedroom/ bathrooms with king beds.
Enjoy beautiful starry nights by the fire pit that overlooks the mountain

Very easy to get to but nestled on a dirt road with trails down to the App State Soccer complex for walking your dog; 3.5 miles to downtown Boone but feels like you are out in the country.

The house is amazing! It’s so close to campus and downtown Boone, but far enough away to have privacy and relaxation. The pictures do not do this place justice, it is beautiful and super spacious! The owner was kind to check on us during the hurricane and even without power (for a short time) I enjoyed every second of our stay.

It was beautiful and comfortable. There was a great space for our group of 12 to visit and play games. The view of the mountains was wonderful, and we spotted deer several times from the back porch. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms and eating areas. Our grandkids enjoyed the game room and hot tub. We look forward to returning next summer!

This property was absolutely amazing, clean, spacious, and has everything you need in order to have a fantastic stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, the downstairs area is full of games, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. In addition, the host, Lorraine, is absolutely amazing and very accommodating. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in Boone. We will definitely be staying here again.

The house was perfect for my husband and teenagers. There was plenty of entertainment inside the house ( hot tub and pool table) while we watched the snow fall outside. The location was amazing. Close to skiing, shopping and dining. We will definitely be back!

We just had the best stay at this beautiful home for our daughter’s graduation from App State. The house is spacious. 2 primary suites, 2 other bedrooms with multiple bed options. Fun basement game room with a pool table, games etc… Hot tub on basement porch level. Plenty of towels provided. Beautiful stocked kitchen with anything you could need. We grilled burgers on the gas grill on deck while looking at the mountains. The house was so clean! Even wearing white socks, they didn’t get dirty! Since we were here in December the house was decorated for Christmas with a tree, wreathes, lights etc… was a very unexpected great surprise. We enjoyed the lights and the gas fire place on our cool evenings! We highly recommend this house!!

We LOVED this house! The location could not be better. We sat out on the porch every morning and evening enjoying the views of Boone. The house is set up perfectly for large families or multiple families and perfect for game-day weekends at App. Of course, the hiking trail to Booneshine made this house one of our favorite Boone rentals. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Lorraine for such a memorable weekend.

We had such an amazing time! This house is just perfect! Plenty of space for all 12 of us. Great size rooms, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. Tons of cozy blankets to wrap up in to hang out by the fireplace. We absolutely would rent this home again. Communication with Lorraine was fantastic. Such an amazing host and person! This home is beautiful, and the view, gorgeous! Our little family enjoyed every minute staying in this home. It was clean and had all the amenities we could’ve asked for. Our kids had a great time downstairs playing games while the adults enjoyed meals on the deck, watching the sunrise and set. My parents live in Boone, and this home was very nearby to them so it made it easy for connecting with them throughout our time here. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This home was amazing! It is spacious and very beautiful. We had 7 adults and had MORE than enough living/eating/sleeping space. The view was wonderful and very easy to get to town (even in icy snow). The kitchen had more than I have ever seen in a rental and provided more than we ever needed. The decorations for Christmas was the icing on the cake.

Love this property! We’ve actually stayed here twice over the past few years. Plenty of space for our family of 8. The view from the back deck is amazing. Very peaceful. The kids loved the game room. Wish we would have spent more time at the house but we were active in the local area between zip lining, tubing, and shopping. Look forward to returning again in the future.

We had a fabulous time at this property! We were a party of 11 and had plenty of space for all. The game room downstairs was a hit and we enjoyed the hot tub, shuffleboard and arcade games. Kitchen had everything we needed. Views were beautiful and we all enjoyed the cows. Our 2 pups enjoyed the home and area as well. Our sons and their families rented the cabin for Christmas. What a wonderful time we had and the cabin was decorated with tree and lights even! My 3 and 5 year grandsons had a wonderful and even went sledding near the cabin. It was immaculate and had amenity you could think of. Lorraine was very easy to reach with any questions too! We want to go back again. I recommend this cabin for any family get together.

We absolutely loved this cabin. We came up to ski and visit my daughter who attends App State. The location is great! It’s close to the town, with hiking trails and a brewery nearby. The kitchen is large and well equipped for those who like to cook. They had the fire pit stocked with wood and the hot tub was nice and hot when we arrived. The house was very clean and had plenty of extra blankets and bedding. There were tons of games and the basement game room was a hit with the teens. Lorraine was very welcoming and responsive. We usually don’t stay in the same rentals more than once, but we will definitely be back to this one!
