"We enjoyed our stay very much! Beautiful property, definitely a big hike up the hill, but that was expected. And the steps/railings were helpful. The kitchen was stocked well, but lacked larger size pots/pans. We enjoyed the lake access from the pier, despite being there during the time when water levels were historically low across the lake. Plenty of water at this property! Laura was very responsive any time we had a question!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this property. It’s more towards the north part of the lake but there is still plenty of room to boat and jet ski. And it’s less busy at that part of the lake even though the best sights are at the south part. The views are still great, the rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The house has great amenities and everything you need. The Food Lion is less than 15 minutes away. The house is an older home with updated finishes. The hot tub is one of the best I’ve ever been in. But the real winner is the dock and view. The kids loved playing in the water at the dock. Even though the water level is low at the lake it is still plenty deep. If there was any negative it was the house had a bit of an old home smell when we arrived. But once we got the air circulating and bought some candles it was fine. Again, it is a very good house to vacation and relax."

"Great house! Great host! 5 stars! The location is perfect, especially if you want to rent a boat at the marina (in the same no-wake zone). We had a power outage due to a storm, which caused a few things to need to be reset, and Tracey worked with us to quickly get them addressed - very responsive. She was flexible on a few things for us and was very friendly. I’d stay here again!!"

"If you want a place to stay in the woods, this is it. No lake sights available, The water is low but this is on a creek that goes to SML, not on SML. We enjoyed our weekend, a little disappointed that we could not see the lake. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. Kitchen/Dinning room table only had chairs for 4. The host recommended a great restaurant 1 mile away and it was amazing. We had a great weekend, short drive to a marina. Just would have been nice if the description was more accurate, thought we were paying for water front property, not a house in the woods."

"This home is deceptively larger than it looks when you first pull up! It has an open kitchen/dining/living space, 3 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The back of the house looks out over the water and the two decks, dock, and stairs are in excellent shape. There is a covered side porch off the dining room for when there is some rain or you are looking for some shade. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils and good restaurants are about 20 minutes away. We would definitely recommend this listing and certainly would stay again in the future!"

"The picture was a little misleading as far as how steep the walk was from the dock. The grass had not been cut and by the end of the week it was ankle deep and very weedy. The house was beautiful and spacious with lots of great features and we had a good stay with these couple of exceptions."
