Room for improvement: all 3 mattresses were sagging/broken, we all basically slept on springs. The radiator of the 2 single beds room was so noisy we had to turn it off. "This was an interesting hotel right in the heart of Cardiff. It was an easy walk to the Castle, multiple museums, and lots of restaurants and shops. It was clean. It was a good sized. The breakfast was outstanding - the best on our trip (and we had very good breakfasts at multiple hotels, so that's saying something). The hotel is a little confusing with a maze-like layout, but you get used to it. The only problem was the bed was very uncomfortable. It was the softest bed ever, and sagged in the middle. When we mentioned this when we checked out, they were incredibly sorry to hear about it, and wished we had said something sooner. I honestly think they were upset on our behalf and wished they had the chance to fix the problem. We just don't like complaining or whatever, so we didn't mention anything. Very happy overall."
