"It would have been perfect if staff at the reception were trying harder to look friendly and helpful. Any questions about transport to the airport, theme park, attractions in the area..etc - the answer was " we don't provide this information". Also accepting deposit only in cash with cashmachine in hotel charging you a huge rate for withdrawing cash looks like more like scam rather than 4* hotel service. Everything else was perfect ."

"Very nice hotel in convenient proximity to the theme park. Unlimited entry your whole stay is a great deal. Advise to go all inclusive because it covers the park food and drink as well. Just look in to what it includes before you go to save any confusion when youre there. Great pool always plenty of room. Nice enough rooms the hotel is fairly old but bases itself on a rustic feel in Mexico so if you just get in to it you wont have any problems. The buffet is huge at breakfast and dinner and the pool side lunch buffet is good for the younger guests. Its good value if you dont go all inclusive as well. Freindly staff and theres an animation team doing activities around the hotel throughout the day. Front of house will have a taxi at the door for you in minutes just chat to one of the people in the white shirts. Ask them anything directions taxis buses good shops theyre great. They had our room ready way earlier than 3pm we had our bags down and were in the pool by 1pm. Suggestions: Give the animation team an activities board so people are more aware of whats going on. Offer PortAventura World fast passes and ride photos passes for the length of your stay I'd happily pay more for the passes if they lasted the whole stay. More explanation needed on the points system for purchases around the park and hotel. I only found out about it on the penultimate day ofthe trip and I had spent loads by then."

"The staff are so friendly and pleasant. The room was absolutely spotless and very nicely appointed. Each room gives a feel of a separate apartment and privacy and the balcony was so pretty! You are only a few blocks from the beach and as many restaurants and bars as you could need or want. Wonderful experience. Walkable from the train station but also a short taxi ride if you prefer. Highly recommend."
