"This was a nice little hotel outside city limits. It is set in the countryside and is very picturesque. The attached restaurant served delicious food at a very reasonable price. There was a nice little playground for the kids to burn off energy before bed. This is not walkable to Durbuy but a quick 5 minute drive. The staff was very welcoming and made sure that our waiter spoke English which made ordering so much less tricky. A very peaceful relaxing stay."

"What an amazingly quaint little place! The owner was so helpful and friendly and accommodating! We met people who were there for repeat visits who could not say enough about this great place! The rooms were spacious, comfortable and super clean! And the breakfast!!!! Generous, varied, huge selection and copious amounts of sekectuon and food! Cant day enought about this place! DO NOT pass it by if you are in the area!! Best place around!"

"Garden was beautiful. With large sweeping lawns. House was good enough, a little on the small side. Pool was very cold, even on the hottest days (30°c) the water only got to 22°c. Main reason I rented the place was because of the pool, but sadly hardly got to use it."

"My partner and I stayed at this residence at the end of our honeymoon trip and for Spas F1 qualifiers and race. We had the best time! Mbarak's description of his home and rooms doesn't do the charming cottage justice. We had plenty of space for our luggage and things, fantastic views of the countryside and lush surrounding foliage, and the breakfast that Mbarak provided I've since grandfathered into my new marriage contract with my husband, absolutely delicious and unexpected upsell. We chose to drive to Durbuy due to the rain, and it was a quick trip by car for wonderful meals and people watching. Most everyone is only French speaking but Google translate helped us navigate those conversations and menus easily. Mbarak was a fantastic host, even when dealing with our time difference ahead of our trip (we came from Seattle Washington, he responded super quick and was able to answer our questions easily. should we ever find our way to Durbuy again, we will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend to family and friends looking for a more private cottage experience in the historical countryside. thank you so much Mbarak for making us so comfortable and cared for after our long tiring travels :) The new Mr. & Mrs. Shanklin"

"Attended for the Belgium Grand Prix, so appreciably busy, however parking could be better as struggled to find places and due to a lack of demarcation in the overflow carparks, people were parking everywhere, including on grassed areas. Rooms are clean, however in need of air conditioning as the far side of the hotel is glazed and the rooms were hot, despite a fan being provided. Breakfast had a good provision of all food types, cereal, pastries, eggs, sausage etc. Located nearby, the town of Barvaux-sur-Ourthe provides shops and plenty of restaurants, but does require driving to. Overall, would recommend."
