"Everything was excellent. Big shout out for Rye at Reception and Josie in Whip Bar & Grill who went out of their way to ensure a great stay for us. I gave 4 stars for Condition because the room we were allotted required us to take two lots of stairs and the corridor smelt a bit musty, possibly because it was close to the pool. We are both in our late 70s and perhaps we should have asked for a room which did not require us to navigate stairs with two bags etc. In all other respects we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the friendly service of all staff was outstanding."

"It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location. Just a 9 minute walk to shopping and dinning and a 6 minute walk to the waterfront park. I loved the beverage stations on each floor offering tea, coffee, hot cocoa, and water (sparking or flat!) We had breakfast at Lily Mays, little pricey but the food and service were great. My only complaint is I was unaware there was construction and our lake view was obstructed by a blue film on the outside of our window. It will not stop me from staying again in the future when I know all windows will have the film removed. "

"Very quiet despite being near the highway, which was convenient. Quick drive (5 min) to Burlington downtown, or 8 minutes to the airport. The room was nicely appointed and clean. We would choose this hotel again! "
