Lake Palestine's Best Property for Vacations, Reunions, Events, Get-Aways!!!

"This property exceeded our expectations in every way! Too often, we’ve discovered that the property doesn’t measure up to the photos, but photos of Pelican Point Lake Estate in Frankston can’t fully describe the beautiful, serene atmosphere that awaits you. From the moment you drive through the gated entrance, you’ll see a property that is beautifully landscaped, and well maintained. Entering the home, you will encounter luxurious, family friendly furnishings, and breathtaking views of Lake Palestine, from almost any room in the house. The host and property manager were readily available, and eager to ensure we had a great stay. This was a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary, along with a family reunion, and we were not disappointed. Pelican Point will long live in our hearts as a place of beauty, fun times, and precious memories with family and friends! Can’t wait to come back!TC, Karen and Family"

"What a wonderful and peaceful place this is to stay! Exactly as portrayed in the posting. Very friendly and communicative hosts (but also very willing to respect space and privacy). The accommodations were cozy, clean and comfortable (a coupe of wasps we did battle with but as should be expected with a rural locale). Their dogs have impeccable manners. If bringing a dog you might bring a tie out (to be used as you supervise of course) as we ended up having to attach leash to chairs to have a hand free to drink coffee. They do provide an outside kennel as well as crates. (We brought our own.) We’ll be back!"

"The owner went out of his way to accommodate us and was super nice. Check in was smooth. The room was clean and stocked up. There was plenty of parking available. The air conditioner worked perfect. We stayed 7 days and would have stayed longer but had to get home for work. Will definitely stay there again. McDonald's was next door for a quick bite."

"We had the best time. The house was clean, the kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, and the view was amazing! One thing the pictures do not capture is the easy walk-in access to the lake on the property (I included a pic in this review)! It was a pleasure to meet the owner, Jerry, who took great care to make sure we were set for a tranquil retreat. And the sweet kitty that visits was an added bonus our kiddos loved!"

"Located in a quiet neighborhood and nestled in the woods. it reminded me of a futuristic cabin in a Star Wars movie. a unique rental experience. the host left useful things in the house. every possible thing that you would need for a short stay was there. the paid for netflix and streaming TV was a plus. charming decor that you don't find in many other places. definitely had a unique character. Stayed here while visting friends that live in the Tyler area. a great retreat from a busy city life. the only complaint was that in the listing i thought for some reason it was next to a lake but the property is actually in a subdivision next to Lake Palestine. Great price for the rental. Communication with the host was excellent."
