"We are a family of 4 including 13 year old and this was the first trip to Italy(Europe) from Canada. We landed at Venice and arrived at Milan central station using high speed train. We used Freenow taxi(Lyft) to go to the hotel. Uber is also available in Milan and there was Uber pickup and dropoff spot right in front of the station, but we had to walk to the specific spot to take Freenow taxi which was located a block away from the staition. Better take Uber if you rush to the station. The hotel location was very good and it took 10 to 15 min using either Uber or Freenow taxi depending on the traffic. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was kind and gave detailed information whenever I asked. The beds were comfy and good size for us. The washroom was clean and no issues for taking a shower(No bathtub). The hotel amenities we used were breakfast area and the bar area. The breakfast was very good and I would give 10 out of 10 for the quality and the variety of choices. Only a couple of complaints I had was there was no ice machines at all because we wanted to drink ice cold water during hot days in the summer. But no worries, the staff at the bar gave ices for free when I asked. Another complaints I had was there were not many choices of restaurants nearby. Better check business hours because there are many restaurants closed during weekends."
