Bella Vista was built using traditional materials and is surrounded by beautiful Sicilian countryside.

By car, it's 20 minutes to the nearest beach and 3 minutes to the nearest shops and restaurant.
Palermo City Centre is 23km 16 miles away.

Bella Vista has ample parking space and its own private garden and large private swimming pool.

The villa is fully-furnished with all the modern comforts (including TV, dvd player, air-conditioning and wifi) and sleeps up to 6 people

The villa is not suitable for children below the age of 12 or for people with mobility problems.

This is a lovely 3-bedroom house - high up on a hill with amazing views of mountains and down to the sea. Very quiet area - not touristy at all. About 4km outside the small town of Bolognetta which is about 30 min drive from Palermo. Also near Misilmeri which is another pretty little town with a fabulous ice cream shop.Jack was a great host - very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp & phone. Good directions and instructions for arrival.There were a couple of minor problems but he got them sorted quickly. The pool is beautiful and we spent many days just in the house and by the pool. The whole house is surrounded by large patio areas and there is always somewhere you can sit in the shade to eat. The kitchen is well equipped - there is a washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, microwave. And plenty of fridge space. We had days out to Cefalu, Palermo & Castellammare del Golfo. And found 3 great vegetarian & vegan restaurants in Palermo. All round a lovely holiday- highly recommend.

Wonderful villa

A wonderful place to stay with amazing views and a great pool. Seating areas to enjoy each changing view. Hardly spent any time indoors. Very helpful and hospitable property manager who looked out for us while giving us privacy.

Beautiful Hill Top Villa

We had a great holiday at Bella Vista with fantastic views of the surrounding area. Whilst the villa is a couple of miles out of town, there was everything we needed within the town for both eating in and out. The pool and villa were clean, tidy and well looked after and we had everything we needed for a Villa holiday. Although, we arrived late in the evening, there were well stocked cupboards and fridges to get us through that evening and breakfast the next day. We had a wonderful team and are already looking at when we next head back to Sicilly.

Excellent Villa

We’ve just had a brilliant two week stay. The villa, pool and gardens are great. Jack and Kathy are very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful.

Lovely house with awesome view

House Bella Vista is located high up on a hill with stunning view. The fully equipped house has good space with 3 bedrooms well suited for the larger family. Checking in was very smooth with the house manager Kathy. We arrived late in the evening so Kathy had left breakfast groceries in the house which was very appreciated. All communication with the owner Jack was good all through. We had a late flight home on the departure day so Jack let us stay several hours extra in the house to fully enjoy the house and pool. Thanks again for that Jack! We really recommend this house to rent!

Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Jack's Villa sehr genossen. Der Pool, die vielen Terrassen und die atemberaubenden Blicke in alle Richtungen über Berge, Orte bis hin zum Meer waren wirklich bemerkenswert. Jack und auch Kathy, die Schlüsselverwalterin, haben uns warm mit Erfrischungsgetränken, Wein und Sekt und kleinen Snacks und vielen hilfreichen Tipps empfangen. Die Kommunikation hat top funktioniert. Anfragen wurden meist innerhalb weniger Minuten beantwortet. Wir haben uns jederzeit gut betreut gefühlt. Die Villa ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung des Nordens. Ausflüge nach Palermo, Cefalu, Montreale oder Solunto (eine nahe gelegene Ausgrabungsstätte) sind sehr empfehlenswert. Führerscheinfrei Boote ausleihen kann man in Cefalu. Bolognetta ist ein recht charmantes sizilianisches Dorf mit gut ausgestattetem Supermarkt und einigen Restaurants. Also Daumen hoch. Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Claudia & Thomas

Excellent!

Our stay at Jacks villa was amazing! There is nothing to complain about, we enjoyed every minute. Kathy welcomed us heartwarming and was always available for any questions. The view one has from the top of the hill is so mesmerizing, one completely get lost in it. We hope we are able to come again next year!

Beautiful Villa with amazing views 😍

We loved our stay in Villa Bellavista. It had everything we needed and more. After a long delayed journey we were welcomed by Kathy, the lovely key holder. She was fab both before and during our stay. The lovely owners Jack and Heather had left a super welcome gift of wine, bread, margarine, eggs, jam, milk and Coca Cola. Perfect, especially for our tired and hungry teenagers. The Villa has an amazing pool and sunloungers with really comfy cushions. When we came to chill at night we had a vast DVD collection to choose from. We got lost initially finding the Villa as we stupidly followed the cars satnav rather than directions provided. So, please follow the much better directions provided to you. All in all we highly recommend Villa Bellavista if you want stunning views, a comfy Villa, fab pool and a taste of Sicilian life. Thanks again. :)

Beautiful villa with the most amazing views, you could not want for anything

What an amazing place! The property manager is on hand for anything you need but to be honest everything was already provided. Bolognetta is a lovely village and the staff in the cafes and restaurants are very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful views of mountain and the sea

Situated about 4km out of the village at the top of a hill the villa had amazing views and we spent most evenings watching the sun set over the mountains, sipping SIcilian wine. Plenty of outside space to relax and lovely swimming pool. The owners had left us some groceries which was good to have for the first morning and are available if you have any queries. You need a car to explore the local area and the rest of the island.
