"First time at this hotel in La Paz, we were pleasantly surprised by size of our apartment (#601), its decorations, comfort and the stunning views. Our apartment had 3 rooms, 2 of them with queen size beeds and one Jacuzzi, 2 full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dinning room and living room. Flat TVs in every room. Breakfast is not the best but will do. You are plenty of dinning options within walking distance but thew streets to these locations are very steep, be prepared and warned: easy...

"Walking in I was surprised it was not slicker and could use a more recent renovation, (it was originally the Panama Embassy, years ago.) But we grew to be very fond of this hotel and will continue to go back. It has enormous rooms with enormous windows. It is now surrounded by skyscrapers but is a smaller mansion. "We had a lovely stay at A La Maison - the staff were really accommodation with our late arrival of 10pm and made sure someone was there for our arrival.
