"My husband, dog, and I got away for the weekend just a bit before beach season. We got lucky with great weather! Our favorite eats came from Seaworthy Kitchen & Bar (awesome mac & cheese) and Kate's Pancake house (Sweet Potato Bliss Pancakes omg). We spent a lot of time beaching at Freeman Park and walking the trails at Carolina Beach State Park. Everything seems very family and dog friendly in the area. Probably wouldn't have stayed here if we were traveling without our dog. Overall great place...

"This property was gorgeous, first of all. You are right in the heart of downtown. We knew we’d be visiting with our son and doing plenty of activities in the downtown area. This place was perfect for this. Plenty of times, we would just pause our activities and pop in here for a drink of snack. We will stay here again!"

We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the nearby food spots, plus having dinner on the back patio. We also appreciated the provided beach supplies, towels, and coffee.
