"Close to beach"

"Pros: breathtaking views, wine tasting was lovely and staff was very knowledgable and personable, Breakfast was excellent lots of options. Room was beautiful and well appointed The bed was “a true king size” as per North American standards and very comfortable. We only stayed for one night on route from Cinque Terre to Rome; We should’ve planned for two nights at least. Pool was very nice. Also, I was contacted by staff that I had forgotten a clothing item I after we left. Most places would just not bother to contact patrons. They offered to send it to us at our next location. It was not worth it to us, but it was greatly appreciated that they put in the effort. Grazie Mille! Class act. Cons: small thing. We had to ask for the bill three times at dinner and waited about 15 minutes. "

"I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Albergo Etruria. Daniele & Paola are phenomenal hosts who went above and beyond to help us have the best stay possible! In addition the building is fantastic.. a bed & breakfast feel with a gorgeous cafe and rooftop access to one of the most picturesque walking trails in all of Volterra. Location wise the hotel is absolutely central to everything and after 5 days of walking everywhere that we could I believe it is simply on the best street (ambiance, shopping, bars and cafes, location not to mention almost zero automobilentraffice which was great) in the entire town. An amazing stay and highly recommended! "

"The new and modern hotel is situated right on the ocean boardwalk. The view at breakfast was spectacular as was the breakfast selection. One of the evenings we had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was one of our best meals during our journey through Italy with our 2 children."

"We were upgraded to a room with a balcony. Staff was friendly and helpful. One minor point: The shower drain needs to be unclogged. Breakfast was fine. The parking area was spacious and convenient."

"Lovely family stay in a well serviced resort. Choice of restaurants and pools were good. Staff helpful. The chalet could have had a few more basics as not even a cloth at the sink to use. Also, a few things were more expensive than you thought… mini golf expensive and the buffet is pricey so you have to be very hungry to get your moneys worth! The staff work hard and it’s a happy place to relax and enjoy the beach. "
