Two good things was that the towels were clean and white though small and thin. The other good thing was the weekend night shift desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Our room had no bath towels but she brought them to us and she offered to help carry our luggage upstairs. There is no elevator and it’s a 2 story hotel.
The hotel is old and tired. It needs to be renovated desperately. The hallway upstairs had a bad odor the whole time we were there. It didn’t appear that the carpet in the hallway was ever vacuumed. The bed was hard. The wing chair in the room was stained and gross. We went to breakfast one day out of 3. It wasn’t appealing at all. I needed hot water for my tea. Airpots don’t keep water hot enough for tea to properly steep. I asked the attendant if I could have hot water directly from the coffee machine. She said no then told the manager who had come in what I asked for. The manager says we don’t have that. I saw it in the kitchen area. They did have the red hot water tap on the coffee machine but she apparently didn’t understand or didn’t want to accommodate me. We won’t stay here again.
