Located very well, good value for money. A little bit outdated furniture (not bothering at all), but a brand new hotel is in the process of bying build. A very good hotel is you want to explore the city.
The hotel was in good location....near the US embassy....the people there are nice and friendly....always helpful....only thing negative was the food was not all that great but that is because I am used to American food...;-)

Good hotel for the price in downtown Bogata
This may not be the most exclusive hotel in downtown Bogata, but it's safe, friendly and colorful. Real Colombians stay here: politicians, attorneys, farmers, Amerindians, teachers, etc. And it's reasonably priced, which includes a decent breakfast. Walk to museums, Plaza Bolivar.
The hotel was very secure and well located. There was much to see and do just walking out the front door. The staff was very helpful and responsive. The Italian restaurant was excellent - the other restaurant in the hotel was mediocre and I avoided it after the first 2 days. The breakfast included was served in this second restaurant and after the 2nd day I avoided it. If you walk out the front door of the hotel and turn left and cross the street, there is an excellent café with wonderful breakfasts. The staff was very helpful in arranging tours for me.
I had a double room and would have preferred larger beds, but the down comforters were great.
