"We really can't complain much. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. The room had a slight odor, somewhat like stale cigarette smoke (it was a non-smoking room). There was a small coffee pot and a refrigerator. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only real hassle was getting in and out of the parking lot from the road, unless you were coming from the east. "

"I will give a big shout out to The Rivet House on Oneta St, Athens, GA. I stayed one night. My room was clean and comfortable. I love them wood beam ceiling! The room was just right. The added plus is the modern bar and the addition of the restaurant, Osteria Olio. I find it hard for anyone to be dissapointed."

"My daughter is preparing to relocate to Athens for graduate school and we needed to stay a few days to find an apartment and acclimate her to the city. This little spot was just perfect. The home was spacious and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked and my daughter and I enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the front porch. And you can't beat the location - close to everything and private parking. The owners were responsive and addressed a minor issue promptly....

You can hear the brook 24 hours a day, especially from the screened porch off the kitchen. Watch the dear eating from the bay window in the front. It is pure magic.
