"This was our second visit, and what struck us most was that the staff actually remembered us. Not in a scripted way, but genuinely: the restaurant team and the crew at the scuba shop both recognized us and picked up right where we left off. That says everything about the people who work here. From the moment we stepped off the seaplane we were greeted warmly, and the team was consistently on hand with information and support all week, never intrusive and always helpful. Our beach cabin was outstanding. The bed was genuinely comfortable, and the outdoor shower and tub were a real highlight after a day in the water. The food exceeded expectations, with real variety across the restaurants and every meal delicious rather than merely good. A delightful surprise was the Oktoberfest celebration, the last thing we expected in the Maldives and all the more fun for it. The team also made my birthday special with a custom cake, a thoughtful touch that meant a lot. The diving deserves its own mention. The scuba team was excellent: professional, well organized, and enthusiastic, taking us to a different dive site every single day for a full week, which kept the experience fresh from start to finish. Beautiful setting, excellent food, world class diving, and a team that clearly cares. We'll be back for a third time."

His friendly attitude and professionalism made us feel at home immediately and set the tone for a fantastic stay. The villas were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The island itself is stunning, with pristine beaches, crystal-clear water, and plenty of places to enjoy the natural beauty. There was also a great range of exciting and interesting activities to choose from, ranging from high octane watersports to kayaking and leisurely snorkeling tours with local marine life, ensuring there was always something enjoyable to do, whether you wanted adventure or simply to experience the incredible marine environment. "Just leaving after an amazing 7-day stay at Emerald Faaufushi. As a solo traveler here to celebrate my 50th birthday, the staff here made me feel so special, from my amazing villa host Tharif to the exceptional food and beverage team, receptionist, housekeeping, etc. This was truly a dream trip, and I cannot wait to come back. I stayed in a sunset overwater bungalow (327) which was exceptional. I could hear the ocean constantly, and having my own sun deck and pool was so worth the splurge. The food at all of the restaurants was incredible - my birthday dinner was at Carnivorous and the team there sang happy birthday and brought me a cake! The weather was much better than I expected - windy but I had 5 great days of sunshine. I used the gym four days of my trip and it was small but nicely appointed. I also enjoyed two spa days - again, exceptional staff and experiences. I can’t recommend this resort enough! Thank you all for making this a dream trip! Hope to see you again soon!"

"Absolutely fantastic stay- we were met at Male airport and looked after to our flight to Ifuru Island which is outstanding. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. Cannot recommend this Island strongly enough ! ALL the staff were very dedicated and very hard working and so sorry can’t remember everyone’s names but very much felt a warm/friendly/family atmosphere. Shout out to: Monika, Tharaka, Sara, Diva, Donni, manager of waterfront(sorry don’t know name), Shiyaau, Basse, Pradeeb, Shiva, Raazan, Juli, Ahmed, Fraish (sorry if spelt wrong - captain of Komomo) thank you to everyone for a very special holiday "

" It is an amazing resort, and I was lucky enough to spend my birthday there. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay truly special. We were especially impressed by Maniuu, who looked after us throughout our stay and made sure everything was perfect. We absolutely loved the sound and healing session overlooking the beach with the wonderful June – it was such a peaceful and unique experience. All of the restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was consistently good with great variety. The marine life around the resort is incredible. We saw sharks, many beautiful fish, and even manta rays, which was an unforgettable experience. The surroundings are simply stunning. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, which was fantastic – amazing views, a spacious and comfortable room, and the nets overlooking the ocean were my favourite spot to lie back, relax, and enjoy the scenery. I also received a birthday cake, which was not only delicious but such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. I truly felt spoiled. During our stay, we also took part in art classes with an amazing artist. I was genuinely surprised by how unhurried and detailed the experience was – he was incredibly patient, explained everything step by step, and we came away with a beautiful keepsake to remember our time there. We also enjoyed a lovely sunset cruise, which was the perfect way to end our days. Overall, it was a beautiful, memor"
