"We definitely enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was very peaceful and beautiful. Everyone was welcoming and polite. Well organized and neat. The things I would suggest they improve on is their restaurant options, different food options each day, for those with longer stay-a trip to explore the city, and more nightlife/activities. Overall, it was an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back. "

"Staff went over and beyond to make sure everything was good but to a point where it felt overboard. Room doors didn't shut properly and a lot of bugs were in the room, continually killing large ants that crawled on everything including in bed. "

"Lovely staff, stunning accommodation, good food, great excursions. We went on snorkelling trips to look for Whale Sharks, turtles and Manta Rays and saw them all super close to us. Prices also weren’t quite as punitive as we’ve seen in the Maldives before (eg champagne for USD50, cocktails for USD12). "

"Overall the stay was good. But the biggest disappointment was Mr. Mahmoud (Island host). Upon our arrival, Mr. Mahmoud was assigned to us as the Island host. We received zero support from him. Throughout our stay we had to reach out to different people to get guidance, information or support. Island host was not available. To one question, he responded after more than 36 hours. And then he never got in touch. Effectively, we were without an island host- which was extremely disappointing. This probably, would be the reason that we do not intend to visit Raddison Blue Resort Maldives again."

"Overall was very good particularly the customer service was extremely good. Hotel management team was very present & approachable. However we were all expecting air conditioning throughout in the water villa especially it’s an enclosed bathroom. There was no AC nor fan in the bathroom and was recommended not to open the door in between the bedroom & bathroom which caused condensation. We tried but the heat/humidity made it hard to do whatever for a minute or 2 without sweating. This was very disappointing for 4.5* resort. Food was ok, plenty to choose from and will not go hungry. We were AI and drinks were included which were very good. The Chefs even provided us with custom made fish dishes which were very delicious. My friends did the fishing excursion but the Maldivian style was not for anyone but there weren’t any fishing rods as another option. We didn’t do any of the free excursions as weather wasn’t on our side. We stayed on the water villa and there were many fishes around for snorkeling but be aware that the bottom of the water was very rocky so water shoes are the must. Chanaka, the Guest Experience Manager was very helpful and made sure all guests enjoying their time on the island & leaving there with a big smile. It was a pleasant stay with few minor hiccups. "Booked with South Ari Dive, who were a fantastic dive centre with everything needed for a perfect diving holiday. Great friendly service, superb value and local dive site knowledge. They took us snorkelling with Mantas during our surface intervals which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience The accommodation is in a local guest house (not at the dive centre but 2 mins walk away). We stayed at Manta which was basic but pleasant and comfortable. Recommend B&B basis as the restaurants on Dhangethi are cheap and convenient. Service was okay though English could have been better and would have appreciated our towels to be changed for clean ones a couple of times during a 9 day stay."
