"I don't understand the people who give less than 4-star reviews to this holiday destination. They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Bandos. The staff were very welcoming and polite. The room was a good size with plenty of light. The beach was amazing. Great place to snorkel. Would definitely recommend. "

"From the first moments of welcome all the way to our last boat ride back - everything was truly spectacular. This was our third time in the Maldives and definitely the best. The quality of service is quite unparalleled- every staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful and competent. We felt right at home. The hotel was a perfect combination of family friendly without it feeling too much of a family resort. Our beach villa was spectacular - spacious, great facilities, and with thoughtful housekeeping service. We were also very happy with the morning and evening buffet and overall the quality of food and drink was excellent. The hotel’s water policy was also very guest friendly and it was so relaxing not having to worry about having to constantly purchase water bottles. We also greatly appreciate that we were able to both check-in early and check-out late - that is the type of service and guest friendliness that really makes Coco Bodu Hithi stand out for us. Lastly, a big thank you also to the kids club staff and facilities. I would definitely recommend advertising the kids club more prominently on the website or on other booking platforms as that can be a motivating factor for other families. All in all we had truly a wonderful stay. We would be happy to come back to Coco Bodu Hithi again soon. "

"Really liked our stay at Star Shell. The staff are excellent and super helpful. We were travelling with two young kids and honestly their service and friendliness really made our trip so much easier. We were always helped with our luggage without asking and with no expectation of a tip. I would highly recommend using theit airport service. The room was excellent and surprisingly modern and spacious. With an integrated rollaway bed, it was enough for the 4 of us. Very good location too, the beach is a 2 min walk and lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby, many of which are open till late. Some small improvements that could be made. The bathroom needs a vent fan as it gets quite warm and can’t leave the window open overnight due to the main road outside. AC wasn’t on before we came into the room so it was quite warm. However overall a great hotel and we will definitely be staying here again!"
