"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

"We had a great stay at Thornton manor estates! Ian who checked us in was so friendly and welcoming, excellent communication throughout from booking our stay to check in. We stayed in one of the cottages and it even had a hot tub! Great value for money with spacious rooms and peaceful location. Our group loved our stay! Thank you."
