Everything is perfect. The hotel is family run and has been for 100 years and you can feel the love and pride the owners have in everything. The hotels history is a huge part of the story telling a d done in a tryly respectful way. We cannot praise the hotel, staff, food and cleanliness enough. Amazing place and not only will we return, but would wholeheartedly recommend to all friends and family. Enjoy your stay … you’re in for a treat. "

"Wood prefer to be able to have a fan in the room or the option to rent one with a security deposit. Lack of an elevator was a surprise and was difficult for me with a heart condition. The man at the desk was awesome reserving us taxi cabs a day in advance. "

"Exceptional stay with Bert and Wendy whom we now know very well since last 2 years. They are always very courteous, helpful and hospitable, and their place is a paradise to stay in Austria in either Winter or Summer. The apartment is nicely furnished with all amenities and loaded with toys and games for children. They have such an adorable pet house cat named Mollie, who is such a darling and it is very comforting since she always plays with our 2 children of ages 5 and 10 years. The property has an attached shared garden area which is huge and had lot of fun activities for kids of all ages to play or spend quality time in evenings. We highly recommend Haus Tauern am See in this beautiful town called Heiterwang for all your sightseeing activities in Tirol and Zugspitze Arena. We also visited Fischer Hotel am Heiterwanger See which has a beautiful Heiterwanger lake and a dream children’s playground on the lakefront. The Zugspitze mountains are the highest in Germany and they are less than 20 minutes drive from this place. There is also the famous Ebsee near Zugspitze which is a must visit. Also the Neuschwanstein castle, Walderlaubnispark and Lechfall in Schwangau are must visit and nearby to Bert and Wendy‘s beautiful home. We visited all these places in 2 days and had great fun as family."

"The TT hotel has been rebuilt and is sleek and modern looking. The finishes are gorgeous. We booked this trip through Expedia, sadly we were not told that it was still undergoing finishes and that there would be no restaurant or bar available for the time we were there. We had also booked breakfast. Luckily for us, the owners had told us we'd get breakfast brought up to our room and because of the inconvenience of no bar or restaurant, they had placed us in a suite with kitchen facilities. Once again, brilliantly finished. Breakfast arrived each morning at the time we'd asked for and was the most wonderful spread of cheese, hams, bread rolls, jams, cereal,fruit and juice, milk and a boiled egg. A spread you would find down in the restaurant if it were open. It was wonderful. Lovely stay and would definitely go back."
