Nearby when you need her and surprising us with some vegetables and honey from the garden. Lago Maggiore is also nearby with several nice towns. We rented a boat for Lago Orta, which was very nice"

We had wonderful family time there, enjoying picturesque walks near Lake Orta and relaxing in this fantastic house. Our son was fascinated by various old objects found in the house, he loved climbing and playing on the mezzanine, and playing some boardgames provided by the owners. "A lovely house on the hills just outside the centre of Stresa. Well equipped (except for an iron), though it would have helped if instructions on how to operate appliances were supplied. Clean and spacious, with beautiful views and a lovely garden.It is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Stresa from the property, but a 30 minute walk back, because it is all uphill!"
