"Great place to get away and totally relax"

"We absolutely loved this condo on a private beach. The condo is very large with multiple balconies and a direct view of the sunset over the gulf. Everything we needed was included and the condo was very clean when we got there. The host was quickly responsive to every e-mail. Our only challenge was locating the correct door for the condo, but once we got in the elevator (yes, there's an elevator!), it was very clear. Highly recommended and we will be staying again. She is an avid shark tooth hunter, she was able to collect over 900 sharks teeth in 5 days. We also had 2 of our grandchildren along with us. "I have stayed at this location at least a dozen times over the past few years. The staff is excellent. The rooms are clean but the building itself is in need of repair. Some of the upper floors appear treacherous-some had construction supports while I was last there. Rugs are covering upper walkways that are in need of stain etc. Several restaurants have closed on the property so options there are dwindling. Still plenty of boutiques left if you like to shop. The rooms are great, I love that...

"We had a very nice stay at the tiny house! (Keep in mind, it is tiny) But very comfortable!! An unique experience and the property was outstanding compared to all the other units in the vicinity. It had a nice spacious canal front deck, and kayaks with a launching deck. Complete mini kitchen and great coffee preps. The beds were very comfortable and unit was very clean and updated. Decorated nicely! Loved the loft! Great alternative to a hotel room. We would definitely stay at Matlacha Tiny...
