My Shell in Boat Harbour is the ideal holiday home for a relaxing getaway. Just 2 hours by freeway and highway from the start of the M1 at Pennant Hills Road, Wahroonga. The single level 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom and 2 lounge areas, pet friendly, fully reverse cycle, ducted airconditioned home is close to all amenities.
What to do and where to find
Extensive shopping at the Salamander Bay Mall includes all 3 major Supermarkets, a Kmart and is an 11 minutes’ drive. Nelson Bay is a 9 minutes’ drive with many tourist stores and large Woolworths supermarket and restaurants (especially good for breakfast is the Home Interior Store at 41 Donald Street). The family friendly Anna Bay Hotel Bistro is a 4-minute drive with good quality pub food. For fish lovers the Nelson Bay Fish Market and down the left-hand end Bubs Famous Fish and Chips lets you sit by the water at the marina as you enjoy todays fresh fish. In Nelson Bay you will find the Bluewater Grill at the Nelson Bay Golf Club (golf also available). Wests RSL club is through Nelson Bay on the road to Shoal Haven 12 minutes away from your getaway home. Wests is a large RSL which has excellent food for families.
Boat Harbour bay (1 minute drive to carpark or 10 minute walk) is a sheltered, safe, child friendly swimming beach with a wide expanse of sand for your dog to run on. There is also a shower to wash off the sand before coming home. If you are after the surf, there are 7 surf beaches to choose from with the closest One Mile beach life saver patrolled. MyShell has all the amenities and conveniences you would expect. Fast internet (450mps by fibre), Miele induction stove, oven and dishwasher, 2 Sony 65-inch smart TV’s (on which you can use your Netflix, Prime, and other steaming logins). There is a 4 burner BBQ and outdoor table and chairs, microwave, filtered tap water, washing machines and clothes dryer. For your car there is an EV charger (Type 2 -32 amps 6 to 8 hour free charge). There is also a range of beach and board games along with a table tennis table in the 2 vehicle lock up garage. Lawn parking means your boat, or a 3rd car can park off the road.
On arrival the two queen beds and two king singles are made up with linen, towels and bathmats/face washers provided (bring your own beach towels) and we provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash but no doubt you will bring your favourite products as well. Basic starter supplies in the kitchen include a range of teas and coffee, sugar, long life milk, dishwasher tablets and liquid.
Now all you need to do is pick your dates, come and relax!
