"The property is a lovely looking building with lots of character and quite eclectic inside. I have to say that the owner Leo was a strange character who barely mumbled 3 sentences during our stay. He didn't ask how we slept, if everything was ok with our room etc, no conversation at all which felt very uncomfortable. However the breakfast he served was nice and well cooked."

There was the sound of some sort of animal clawing in the walls or window. I didn't read the notice that I needed to ask for checkin instructions 72 hours beforehand until the day before departure.
