"Excellent property, service and staff was exceptional. Food was decent. They had a lot of entertainment for guests, shopping for gifts and souvenirs was available. Pools were regularly cleaned, sunloungers were cleaned at the end of the day by staff too. The only issue we had was after multiple phone calls to the spa we were not able to book an appointment because they had no availability for 2 days. The lady on the phone could not understand us and asked us to come to the spa. When we checked...

"Lots of areas for management to improve. We have been sick for almost 2 weeks! Noticed birds eating out of the bread baskets yet staff turn away. Also, smoking is out of hand at this property. People do not follow rules, smoking everywhere including in their rooms and staff do not enforce following designated smoking spaces. It was our first and last time at Riu. "

"So disappointed: 1. Not enough su beda and people reserving them for HOURS and never actually using them. Change your hotel policy so sun beda cant be reserved. Simple. 2. Food was awful. Edible but just such poor quality. Clesrly clrners have been cut to keep costs down. Such a shame. 3. No smoke alarms in rooms and all the fkre extinquishers we saw were completely rushed anf useless. Not great at all! 4. Music by the pool. "The management at this hotel was honestly not impressive at all. Starting with the negatives - we were in the hotel for a total of about 6 hours excluding sleeping time and had to still pay €15 for WiFi PER DEVICE! We specifically asked the reception staff multiple times whether it would reach our room, gave them our room number to check (a superior sea view room) and they assured us it would reach, but of course it didn’t reach our room! We then asked for our money back as we could not use it...

"Scam. No contact details and no-one around on arrival. A scam listing. They gave a number of another local outfit. No record of booking. They’ve taken photos of other apartments from web. No email response. Do not book this listing."
