"The only thing I dislike was the noise. My room (113) was right above the adjoining restaurant, and we could hear the noise up to the closing time at midnight. Also, we could hear people in the hallway. Perhaps you may want to get a room in the next level. Otherwise this hotel was just perfect."

"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. "This was most unique place to stay. Quaint quirky and a lot of history. The rooms were were very quaint with sloping ceilings and stone walls. The breakfast room and breakfast itself were good. Free parking was a bonus too. Only negative was that we visited in a very hot spell, and being an old property therefore no air condition, which we understood but a fan in each of our rooms would have be so appreciated. Being in the eaves was exceptionally hot with only a velux to open."
