Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing explained about how heater works despite 2 degree temperature at night. Recycling and garbage disposal is not explained. Light switch in the bathroom was simply an open electrical connection. Nothing was mentioned about "the other light switch" concealed in the bathroom cabinet The stay in the cottage would have been a whole lot better if certain aspects were clarified, basic cleanliness was ensured and expectations not raised about a so called carefully "curated atmosphere"."
