"System booked 2 stays for the same date, I was booked at Cape Town and at Midrand for the same dates, arrived at Midrand today and advised I was a no show"

"There was no water in the hotel. Toilet smells were unbearable. Porter would bring water in buckets for us to use but that quickly finished as well."

"Lovely people but there was no electricity when we arrived after a long drive (tree brought power lines down) so no hot water and no fridge for the wine we brought. I booked because of the balcony and fridge with the intention of relaxing with a glass of wine after a shower. Instead we had to go to a bar, unwashed, to eat and drink. The power cut wasn’t their fault but there were no solutions suggested to us. "

"Had a fantastic stay. Annamarie is the most perfect host - the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious. The gardens are immaculate. Will definitely be back next year. "

"Amazing start to our South African holiday. Although the hotel is quite a way out from Midrand and there is no real shops around the hotel itself and the staff were brilliant. We rented four rooms I’mma put in the big house by ourselves except for the owner who also stayed them so we pretty much had the run at the house. Tracy and the team couldn’t do enough and that was amazing, especially after a long flight. They let us check in early and had lunch under the laps which being that except for me, the other had never been South Africa was a perfect introduction. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but other than that, everything was amazing!"
