"This was a very relaxing stay for us. We live and work in the Willamette Valley. We usually vacation in Lincoln County or the Wallowas, but we wanted a change. This definitely was a great change of scene with interesting local shops and readily available hikes and drives—not to mention Bend. Rooms were surprisingly luxurious and well-appointed. The bath—water coming down from ceiling—was particularly gorgeous, but it took a minute to figure out how to drain it. Breakfast is recommended. The little outside nook is really peaceful with the Ponderosa Pines above and bird conversations all about. Their granola is also delicious. One recommended side trip if you’re in to short hikes, is to drive about fifteen or twenty miles to the east and visit the headwaters of the Metolius River. It’s a pretty area and a very easy hike. About the only sort of negative I can recall, is confusion about the nightly deposit. I failed to understand for some reason that it was a deposit and thought the price was higher than expected. Not a big deal and probably the fault of my hearing."

"Love the Log Cabin Inn neighborhood and the little cabin was just wonderful for a restful weekend. Wonderful having close amenities like hiking, golfing, hot pools at Belknap and just a beautiful spot on the river. We will definitely be back again soon."

"My wife and I stayed here as we were in town for a wedding at Loloma Lodge which is just a half mile away. The cottage is absolutely adorable! The pictures don’t do it justice. Very clean, well kept and very charming! The grounds are incredible and there is a lovely view of the river from the home which is 50 yards to the water’s edge. Highly recommend this place, I am very picky as I own several personal rental properties, I can promise you won’t be disappointed here. Lastly, my wife really appreciated that the whole cabin was scent-free."

"Gorgeous modern, yet traditional cabin situated close to the river. Slept with the window open so we could listen to the water all night. A relaxing environment. Worked out really well taking our dog there, with large grassy area shared by the cabins. Next time we will take more groceries and stay longer."
