"This lodge has a true mountain cabin feel, and the guest rooms reminded me of what you’d find in an average rental cabin bedroom—so set your expectations accordingly. I stayed here about a mile from downtown Blue Ridge, while my brother and sister-in-law stayed at a downtown hotel for more than three times the price of my room. At check-in, I mentioned that I have a heart condition and don’t sleep well, and I always request a quiet room. The front desk clerk carefully considered my request and placed me on the second floor. He was right—I was very comfortable. My room, and the hotel overall, was clean and presented exactly as a mountain lodge should. The bed was firmer than I’m used to, but I still slept well all three nights. The bathroom was nicely updated with granite counters and tiled floors. The only small issue was a loose sink handle that needed a set screw tightened, which I reported to the front desk. The TV was older (not a smart TV), but cable had plenty of choices, and I was able to connect my laptop via HDMI to stream YouTube. The location is another plus: the lodge sits in a quiet area within walking distance of an Ingles supermarket—very convenient. Overall, I had a great stay and will definitely be back!"

"The place was beautiful and the location was great. On the first day, Michele was very sweet and kind. Every room was fun. The hot tub was amazing. The pool room was a vibe. The cabin by itself was very nice, clean and beautiful. Place had free WiFi and a very nice tv set up. There is a bear warning but we didn’t see any. There’s a fire pit out in front that was great for making smores. I wanted a place to hold up 15 people and this cabin did not fail to hold that many people. "This was our 2nd stay, the first time 2 years ago we enjoyed the stay so much that we invited our family, the grand kids loved the river, could not keep them from enjoying the chilling experience of wading and exploring it.Tubing in the river was a big hit.The fire pit was perfect to enjoy smores and comradery of family time, everything was properly provided, our 2 grand boys wanted to camp out and they were able to do it. This is the best place to enjoy the area. "

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful! We wanted to feel like we were in the woods in a tree house, and when you're on the beautiful back porch you feel alone in the woods! It's very peaceful, well-kept, and Melody was very helpful and responsive. We also loved that it was dog friendly! We definitely recommend staying at this place if you want a lovely peaceful escape"

"We were in Blue Ridge for a family reunion and this cabin was perfect for our family of 11. Plenty of room, especially the large dining room table where we were all able to eat together for each meal. The views are breathtaking and plenty of seating in the deck! Our host was very responsive to messages. We will stay there again if the cabin is available!! "
