"Beautiful rooms and views close to Biltmore estate. Food at azalea was good. Easy access from parking lot to rooms."

"There are several things that need improvement at this lodge. Upon arrival we were not treated in a friendly manner. He acted like we were interfering with his time when we arrived. We arrived early and he said it would be a $35.00 extra charge for early check in . So we left and looked for something to do until our check in time. When we arrived back he still was not friendly, another employee had to go find him and it took about 10 minutes for him to come to the registration desk. I was then 5 minutes early, I asked him if it was still to early to check in and I got no response from him. Finally got our room key and got our things moved into the room. There was a strange smell that seemed to be coming from the room next door so we went to Walmart and bought a plug in air freshener to help with the smell. There were several really important things in the room that should have worked but did not. One of the most is the bathroom door would not shut so you could not lock it to have any privacy when going to the restroom. The beds were so soft it was like we were sleeping in a gully. Terrible nights sleep. Did not eat breakfast. When checking out still no hope you enjoyed your stay or anything. Would not stay here again "

"We had a fantastic stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The hosts could not have thought of another thing that might be needed to make our stay more enjoyable. The space was beautifully maintained, with cozy furnishings and great natural light that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived.The location was perfect: close enough to downtown Asheville, restaurants, and breweries, yet quiet and peaceful at night. We especially appreciated how easy it was to explore nearby hiking, scenic drives, and local attractions, then come back and unwind in such a comfortable setting.The host was responsive, professional, and proactive, making check-in and communication completely seamless. Little touches throughout the home showed genuine care for our comfort.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Asheville—whether for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. A wonderful experience all around!"

"The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The lobby was very stylish and greeting. The carpet in the hallways was a very pleasant design and we loved the art work on the walls. The landscape on the property was beautiful with roses blooming and beautiful dog wood trees blooming also. Our room was roomy, very clean, beds was comfortable and the desk area was nice. I usually bring my own body wash, shampoo and conditioner to use. But they had citrus ones that smelled amazing and left us fresh, clean and moisturized. We had top floor on 5, which had a beautiful view of the trees. The free breakfast buffet was delicious and had something for everyone to choose from. Also served from 6am to 10 am and refilled up though those hours so there was always fresh food for everyone. They even had a beautiful aquarium in the breakfast area and plenty of seating. I was 100% satisfied with our stay and will definitely stay again next time we're up that way."

"The hotel is under renovation, so some areas are not up to snuff, understandably. Our updated room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. It still needed some “finishing” such as a coffee maker. The price was very fair, especially with easy access to Asheville and Black Mtn"

"The home was clean but had an odd smell. When we arrived at the property, there was someone working in the house. This was well after the earliest check in time. The owners lived next door and the worker got the husband, who said we didn’t have occupancy until the next day, when clearly that was incorrect. He just shrugged his shoulders and blamed his wife. I did reach out to the wife, who did apologize, but blamed other reasons for the confusion instead of just apologizing. She offered a full refund if we left the property immediately, but we had already unpacked. In the end, they did refund one night of our stay. "
