Cozy and Pet friendly 2-bedroom cabin in tranquil Blue Ridge

Welcome to The Treehouse at Cherry Log!

The Treehouse is located on less than one mile of well maintained gravel road, easily accessible by car or SUV. It is a beautiful drive on a mountain road along a stream; however, a section is gravel, narrow and goes up and down the mountain. Cars, SUVs, crossovers, and small to medium trucks are perfect vehicles with which to enjoy your stay. If you are planning to visit our beautiful mountains in a low sports car, motorhome, RV, camper, XL truck (ie: Dually sized, even if not dually wheeled), or with any trailers/pull behinds, we kindly ask that you book a place on a paved road - we want you to enjoy your stay.

Enjoy nature at its finest while relaxing in our cozy hand hewn log cabin nestled in the woods on Cherry Log Mountain. The Treehouse is conveniently located between the charming towns of Blue Ridge and Ellijay, Georgia - within 15 minutes you can be in either one enjoying all the activities they have to offer. A beautiful 90 minute drive north of Atlanta, life slows down at The Treehouse. Let your cares melt away as you enjoy a week or a weekend lounging on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub or snuggled up in front of a cozy fire. Enjoy frequent sightings of deer and wild turkey while reflecting on the deck with a cup of coffee. Bring your friends, your family and your dog!

Our comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin features a queen sized bed and a twin over full bunk bed. There is also a washer and dryer in the cabin for your convenience. Kick back with a book on the covered deck or enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen, complete with dishware, silverware, glassware, Tupperware, pots, pans, cookie sheets, muffin tins, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, cutting boards, oven gloves, paper towels, kitchen towels and dishwasher. We also have dishes for your beloved furry friends as well as an ample supply of towels and blankets that are dog friendly for the pooch that likes to jump in ponds and puddles.

For cozy nights, we offer a wood burning, rock fireplace in the livingroom. Or, if you prefer your fire in the fresh outdoors, cuddle up around our outdoor firepit. In addition, the cabin has central heat & air to keep you warm on cold nights and cool during the warm days of summer. If it’s not too warm, we invite you to leave the windows open and allow the soothing sounds of the night to lull you to sleep.

The family room has a 40' flat screen Roku TV, with Cable TV, DVD player (many DVDs included) and Blu-ray. Additionally, the bunk bed room has a TV and DVD player (no cable - but does have Wi-Fi connection for streaming). Wireless internet is accessible throughout the cabin and on the deck for those times you want to be connected, or even catch up on a bit of work. Gather around the dining table or out on the deck and enjoy our selection of books, puzzles, board games and playing cards that will keep everyone entertained.

As soon as you cross the bridge at the bottom of the mountain, you feel as if it were right out of a movie. There is a lot of opportunity for adventure with access to hiking, rivers teaming with trout, mountain views, the Aska Adventure Area, Lake Blue Ridge, Carter's Lake, and other lakes within a short driving distance. The famed Benton MacKaye hiking trail winds through the neighborhood. Blue Ridge and Ellijay, GA both have great shopping, antiquing, dining, spas, galleries, and festivals - apples in fall and peaches in summer. Horseback riding, canoeing along the Toccoa River Canoe Trail, tubing, and charming dining experiences await you during your visit. Best of all, sitting on the deck watching the birds and wildlife, enjoying a fire in the fireplace and rejuvenating at The Treehouse provides a perfect getaway for a short weekend or a longer vacation.

We look forward to your visit at The Treehouse! We're positive you'll enjoy it as much as we do!

Wonderful weekend getaway

Cute cozy cabin in the woods. Secluded but still only about 10 minutes from town. The cabin is exactly as described in the listing. Will definitely stay here again. The owner is very nice and communicates well.

Great place!

We had such a great time at this cabin. It was so cute and cozy. It felt like a home away from home, really easy to settle into! The drive on the gravel road was a little scary at first but after a few times it was no big deal.

Gorgeous Cabin 10min from Blue Ridge

We had an excellent stay at the treehouse. Property was very well taken care of, organized, and easy to check-in and check-out of. Roads were no issue for us but they are definitely roads that I would expect to get to a mountain cabin. 4WD helped but I wouldn’t say required. Enclosed patio, hot tub, and outside fire pit were all great. The cabin was lose enough to stuff / downtown if needed, but far enough away to still feel like you’re secluded. We will definitely be staying here again if we plan another trip to the area.

Family getaway

Small, cute little place in the mountains yet close to town. All the accommodations and assecories you might need for a family with small kids. We were able to fix/cook meals each night, enjoy the hot tub and fire place, and, play games and just relax. The place had a notebook of a galore of suggestions and activities to do in the area. Though our main focus was enjoying the outdoors. We felt very welcome and at home.

Peaceful and cozy!

We rented this cabin for 5 days and it was great. The area was very quiet and the cabin was very cozy. I loved the amenities, they had a new fridge and stove + sound bar for the TV. We really enjoyed the nightly movies! We also brought our pet so we could all enjoy the beautiful nature. Cherry log cabins can sometimes be located in areas that are difficult to access, especially for inexperienced drivers, but in this case, the cabin was very close to the central paved road, with very little driving on a hill road. We are already planning our return!

Wonderful environment

The back porch was our favorite spot where we spent hours listening to nature while enjoying each other's company. The inside was very clean and orderly. The kitchen supplies and campfire could use a little attention. The drive up to the cabin was a little more intensive than we were expecting, but we didn't have any trouble. I would come to stay again in a heartbeat.
