Welcome to 5 Hikes, featuring modern architecture and design set against the best layered mountain and lake views in Blue Ridge.

Whether you plan to enjoy a soak in the hot tub, make s'mores by the fire pit, play pool with family in the game room, or grill at the outdoor kitchen, 5 Hikes gives you panoramic mountain and lake views from its expansive windows and decks.

Located in the highly sought after Aska Adventure Area, 5 Hikes is within two miles of hiking and mountain biking trails and the shops and restaurants of downtown Blue Ridge are just an eight minute drive.

5 Hikes can accommodate up to 12 guests- perfect for your family vacation or a group of friends! Prepare meals in a fully- stocked chef's kitchen that's equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and serve a crowd.

There's plenty of room for everyone to rest in comfort with three master suites with king beds, an additional bedroom with two double beds, a twin bunk room and a queen sized Murphy bed in the loft. Each bedroom has memory foam mattresses, a ceiling fan and a 55" flat screen HD Smart TV.

Downstairs in the game room you'll find a 65" HD Smart TV, gas fireplace, pool table, shuffle board table and large wet bar with full sized refrigerator and freezer. Both living areas open onto the decks for viewing stunning Blue Ridge sunrises and sunsets.

We had an amazing family trip to celebrate milestone birthdays for our parents and Thanksgiving. Angela was so helpful and responsive from the start, offering to stock the kitchen with anything that might be missing to prepare a full traditional Thanksgiving meal. The kitchen was so well stocked and everything needed was right there, down to the pie plate. I couldn’t find one thing missing. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and just as I remembered it from a stay two years ago. The twelve of us were very comfortable in the accommodations and the basement was a hit with our young adult kids.

5 Hikes is a wonderful place to stay, especially if you want the perfect view for fall colors. The views were absolutely amazing! The house is magnificent, perfect for 3 couples, having 3 master suites on 3 different levels. The fireplaces, porches, balconies give it an unbelievable charm. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and all the added amenities make everything very convenient and enjoyable. The front and back yard scenery can creat the best photo shoots. It was almost magical how beautiful the fall colors were. Angela is a great host and easily contacted if any problems arise. I would highly recommend the house and will be back.

Perfect getaway!

Perfect home and location for a family trip. Lots of bedrooms. AMAZING view!!! Beautiful decor. Loved having the pool table for the adults and teaching the kids to play shuffleboard. We were about 15mins from everything we wanted to do. Roaming around downtown Blue Ridge was fun, tubing and gem mining were great! Loved that the host put out info for some good hikes. We saw some great waterfalls. Don't forget to stop by Paw Paw's produce and also get some farm fresh eggs at the house on Snake Nation road that you pass on the way in. So good!! Thank you to Angela for always being available for anything we need. Great host!

Amazing View and Beautiful Home

We rented this house for a Blue Ridge Summer family vacation and it did not disappoint! The moment you walk in you are hit with the best views you have ever seen and the house is absolutely beautiful. It was a clean house and even smelt fresh! Perfect!

We had a wonderful time at 5 hikes! There was a total of 13 of us there (6 adults and 7 kids). Even with a larger group we had plenty of space.Here are my highlights - 1) There’s not a better view in blue ridge. Truly stunning! Great porch set up too with a tv so you can hangout, watch the game, and still enjoy the view. 2) The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Everything you can think of you had access to.3) The beds were incredibly comfortable. This is a big one for me… a bad bed can ruin a vacation so it’s always nice to have a good one.4) Bathrooms were large and very clean. Again, another big one for me. We have 4 kids and so trying to get ready for bed/showers in a small bathroom can be frustrating. Didn’t have to worry about this here! 4) Angela (the host) is great. Super accommodating and great with communication.We will certainly be going back!

Perfect getaway in the mountains

There was not one corner of this house that wasn’t beautiful! We took so many pictures and videos because it was truly breathtaking views. From early morning sunrises watching from the bar top table on the outside deck or cozying up to the outdoor fireplaces during the sunsets, being in this home all day was magical. We absolutely loved the space for our big family. There were so many fun places the kids could sleep as well. There was endless entertainment from in the house to a quick drive in any direction. We will definitely be back for another beautiful getaway.

Family Christmas 2024

This was our third stay in Blue Ridge, and this cabin was by far the best. We loved our stay. The views were breathtaking! It was the perfect space and great location. Everything was just as described and pictured. Very tastefully decorated. The welcome basket was most appreciated. Communication with the property owner was very prompt. We'd love to return one day!

Perfect Cabin for a Cozy Friends’ Getaway!

We stayed at this cabin for our annual friend’s trip, and it was absolutely perfect! The house was cozy, well-appointed, and had everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to plenty of extra blankets. The Christmas tree added such a festive touch, making it ideal for our gift exchange and reunion. The hot tub with stunning views was a highlight, and Angela was incredibly responsive and helpful. This was our 14th fall trip together and it was great! The property is beautiful and had everything we needed. Peaceful and perfect

This is our 2nd stay at 5 Hikes, and it was just as amazing as the first time. There is not a detail missed at this property, we are convinced it's the best place in Blue Ridge. Absolutely Stunning

5 Hikes is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed, and Angela was the best Host. I don't know where to start with this review. The pictures do not do the house or the views justice, it is absolutely incredible. Not a single detail was missed in this house. We drove in during a rain storm and it was just getting dark, so the drive in was a bit intimidating for those of us not used to driving in the mountains, but 100% worth it and we became pros shortly after arriving. My family did not want to leave this beautiful place at the end of our stay and we are already taking about when we can come back.
