"The Positives: An amazing, historic stay. If you get the rooms with the view it is stunning. The beds are superb. A fabulous meal and staff in the Wintergarden. EV charging - of sorts.
Not so great: The staff we encountered in the Bistro & Bar were bordering on hostile. The food and drinks selection is minuscule there. Make sure you book well ahead of time for the Wintergarden, it took us two days to get in. The whole hotel is old and historic, and this comes at the price of comfort, the place is poorly insulated so if you visit in winter, prepare for it. Of the three EV chargers (bonus points for having something), only one works (CCS2). The second one is broken. The third one requires your own Mennekes cable and charges at 2kW (trickle charging). I would encourage the staff to care about this, fix the broken charger but importantly, set up simple system that allows people to communicate when they are moving cars and who’s in next line. Should not be hard if they maintain a book, first in first served, write down name and mobile so they can be texted.
But overall super enjoyable!"
