"The property was well maintained and clean and had plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Located right outside the airport it was cool to watch the sea planes come and go. The rooms themselves were clean and large but haven't been updated in a while. It didn't bother me but some people may not expect that. I travel a lot for work so as long as a room is clean, the heat/ a/c works and the bed is comfy I'm happy and this checked all three of those"

"The up keep is amazing ! Clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced and dog friendly !!! Had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, very nice lady. I highly recommend this place for a safe and comfortable stay."

"Clean room, great staff and breakfast is good. The AC gets the job done. As a skydiver, having the Skydive Deland drop zone at walking distance, makes the spot unique. Also there are a lot of restaurants and services around."

"Remember this is a 100 year old hotel many things have been upgraded but still it's 100 years old. I thought it was very interesting and fun the decor is vintage and transports you back in time my wife and I loved it.we usually stay at more modern places but this was interesting for us to try.the staff was incredible and very helpful."
