"This is a lovely family run B&B. Celine & Jerome are very welcoming and share their knowledge of the local area and DDay sights. It is very close to Omaha Beach and other historical sights. Our room was very comfy and breakfast was delicious. We stopped off on the way home to Honfleur which was recommended by Celine and it was well worth it, it’s a beautiful historical City with a harbour surrounded by townhouses built 16-18th century."

"Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. We drove to Mont St.Michel, Bayeux etc from here. You really do need a vehicle to get around. A few restaurants are 10 mins or so away in the local village. A delightful breakfast was provided by our host Cecilia who was so welcoming, informative and patient with my efforts to speak French. Breakfast consisted of the most amazing pastries I've ever had (and I've had quite a few), bread, jam, cheese, yoghurt - all produced a stones throw away. The room was lovely, extremely clean (and I am a bit OCD) and our daughter had a little separate bedroom next to ours which I didn't realise when I booked it but it was great and she loved it. No TV but that was fine for me (I think my other half missed it though) and lots of information on local restaurants and places to go/things to do. If we were to visit again, we would consider staying in a cottage where we would be able to rustle up some dinner. NB. I think there are some old photos of this chateau on some of the holiday websites - ignore them. The room we had (?The Angels) was a delight, spacious and modernised where necessary - shower, sink and cabinet etc but still retaining the stunning original features - doors and floors etc."

"We loved our stay in this delightful gite and the owner was absolutely lovely. We do have issues about how it was listed through VRBO however as we requested a swimming pool in our search and there wasn't one (but a couple of photos that hinted at it), plus the VRBO support info stated the beach was much closer than it was in their overview info so VRBO were erroneous in their search engine listings. That said, it was a fabulous place and the photos don't do it justice. The outside eating area was perfect and it was great having a bedroom on the ground floor with wheelchair access for my daughter. She couldn't use the ensuite, but could use the shower in the jacuzi so that was great. And the jacuzi was devine! Only compliments for the gite and owner, but disappointed with VRBO."

"Really nice complex, our apartment was clean and tidy with the beds made. It has everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There was an extra charge for car parking on site, which i think should have been included in the booking. Lovely location, nice little place to have a walk around with a beautiful beach which had amazing sunsets. We had a day trip to Mont Saint Michel and also visited the Omaha beach landings area as well as one of the war cemeteries. "

"Hotel rooms were comfortable, the window shutters are great. The restaurant serves a regional menu, including regional beers. The breakfast was the standard bread, pastries, cereal, fruits and cheese. The location was easy to find, and a great spot to stay if planning on visiting the town. The town is close enough to walk if you want alternative options for food."

"Excellent place for a week with the family. Facilities good. We all loved the jacuzzi. Off road parking and really convenient location for visits to the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Granville etc Lovely beach and dune walks locally and reasonably close to good supermarkets. Next time we'll remember that shops have different closure times to ours. Only downside was steepness of stairs but our senior was glad of the downstairs bedoom"
