"Our stay was good and comfortable. We arrived late (just after 9pm) the restaurant was closed so we couldn't order food, only 'tapas' was available, deep fried frozen food which was horrible! Buffet breakfast was good. You have to collect a hairdryer from reception if you need one so best to do that before you go to your room."

"This was a good property to base our visit in Amboise. The property was pretty with a beautiful garden. Unfortunately we could not enjoy that enough since it was rainy and a little cold. Staff was excellent, and we got a good but pricey breakfast every morning. The main negative was that the picture of the room was not representative of what we got. It showed a large room with a sofa but our room barely was enough space for us to move around in."

Ok, the windows were original and not particularly sound proof so it was a little noisy, but this didn’t bother us. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely sitting rooms….. "If I could, I would give the hotel ten stars for service. It was our best service experience during our trip. The staff (especially Natalie) went out of their way to anticipate and accommodate our wishes. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent and filled with tasty surprises. Also, this was one of the very few places in the Loire Valley with a full vegetarian menu. Just perfect! "
