We had such a lovely stay here. They had upgraded rooms available, and upgraded us without even asking. Wilber helped us out in many ways, sharing great information about dining options and things to do. He was extra accommodating which made our stay fantastic. I would definitely stay here again, especially during the off season! It was a nice, quiet getaway.

I love Block Island, have been visiting for years. Dodge Cottage is ideally located, easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was pleasant and comfortable. No complaints about anything.

Nice little getaway!

Nice, clean room. Service was great and drove us down to the Cottage. Only a block away from the Main St so location was great. Good room for the price! If being nit picky, the shower head and shower curtain bar were old and could be replaced with modern fixtures. Curtain, tub were clean and had plenty of hot water. Be prepared if walking and not bringing a car with you. The 0.4 miles to the 1661 Inn for checking in, was up hill and not a easy walk. Plus, have to bring keys back too the Inn for check out.

Lovely stay!

We stayed in the Dodge Cottage, Katherine X suite and it was lovely! Very nicely furnished with kitchenette. Very quiet, too. Bathroom amenities were nice, but bathroom could use a little updating. Linens were nice, beds were quite firm. Staff was SO friendly and we loved spending time at the main 1661 Resort building. Thebreakfast was outstanding also!
