"Wir haben das Ferienhaus für einen kurzen Silvester Urlaub gebucht. Die Check In Infos haben wir auf Nachfrage erhalten und alles hat gut funktioniert. Das Haus war sehr schön mit allem was man so braucht eingerichtet. Der Sohn der Gastgeberin hat uns sogar seine eigene Auflaufform ausgeliehen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und direkt am Wald und Bahnhof, was für uns perfekt war. Gerne wieder! "

"Sehr netter Empfang, wirklich ausreichend Platz, Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück, ruhig gelegen. Die Eigentümerin gab wertvolle Hinweise zum Wandern und nannte uns ein fußläufig zu erreichendes Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche und netter Bedienung. Ein Supermarkt ist ebenfalls in der unmittelbaren Nähe."

"Spacious and efficient. The host was there in case anything was needed (nothing was needed). The kitchen, dining room and living room were large and well laid out. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig, ausgestattet mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, und schön ruhig am Waldrand gelegen. Als für wenige Minuten der Strom in der Gegend ausfiel, wurden wir sofort mit Licht und einer Flasche Sekt versorgt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"We had the most amazing stay here! The view was beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, and the house was equipped with everything we could ever need. Peter was a gracious host, he surprised us with welcome treats and very responsive with any questions we had. There were quite a few stairs to get the home, but don’t let it deter you. We plan to return to the area again and would love to stay here again! "

"We spent a week with 3 generations gathering from several locations in the world to celebrate Christmas. The house was perfect for our group - private rooms for all, plenty of space to allow for gatherings and private time, well-equipped as we cooked almost every meal, and the billiard room was a favorite for lots of fun and laughter! "This is a quiet, comfortable house in a stunning, untouristy location. Lucienne is very nice and helpful. There are lots of great walks, on the doorstep and a short drive away. Don't miss Castle Falkenstein! We went to Wissembourg, Strasbourg and the Maginot line fort Schoenenbourg (which you can visit without a guided tour, unlike Four A Chaux, which by the way doesn't offer English language tours). Having the pool table is fun. We enjoyed our stay."
