Pool was good and terrace nice to sit on for dinner, decent sized rooms, kitchen was adequate but could have done with a built in oven as we were unable to BBQ due to regional ban on fires. "Maison Artus was a beautiful holiday villa a few minutes drive from magical Uzes. Our host and owner, Stephanie, could not have been more helpful and friendly from the time of booking and was immediately responsive to our questions. The villa was comprehensively equipped and very stylish. It technically sleeps 8 but we were 5 adults which felt perfect for the size of house. A very lovely place to holiday in a truly special region of France."

Its location is quite remote (the property is in the village of Malataverne), very close to Lussan; and situated on the side of a hill - access is down a narrow bumpy lane (which will be a challenge for cars with low clearance). And there are quite a few steps to the property itself - i would say the property is not ideal for young children (under ~8 years) or people over ~65 years. We arrived to find a crate stuffed with wonderful French produce including wine and homemade pear jam.
