"Wengen - Wow! And what a perfect chalet to experience it from. It is cozy, beautiful, well-located and….the view! I jokingly said that postcards must have been invented here because otherwise no one would believe that such a place exists. The decor of the chalet is beautiful and cozy. It invites “hanging out”. "The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. I still do not understand why we had to leave cash for the tax and it wasn't billed through the VRBO system. Very inconvenient to have to...

So it’s a bit farther out of downtown than it seems, but we had a car and it seemed public transport was close by. Showers are quite small, but normal for Europe. "Chalet Milly was very comfortable and a well equipped chalet apartment. It made a great base to explore the beautiful walks in the Adelboden region and was only an hour from Grindelwald to walk the Eiger trail. The village had plenty places to eat and drink a a good sized CoOp to buy food for self catering. It was so nice that I would not hesitate to recommend it - bear in mind that Switzerland is pretty expensive though."

"We stayed here to visit friends who live in zweisimmen. The house is a 10 min walk to trains or the ski hill. We loved the skiing. My wife who doesn’t ski made day trips by train to nearby towns. We thought the price was fair. The only minor down side is the step access, 100 up or 120 down. We especially loved a fire at night. Zwieimmen is a jewel of a ski town."
