"We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. "We completely enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described. There were so many touches that show that the hosts have worked really hard to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It's a combination of old world in a farmhouse over 200 years old with restored stone walls, old family photos and original furniture with modern touches such as USB ports, modern lighting. Kinsale lived up to its reputation as a great harbor town full of great restaurants and retail stores. Location gave us access to all we wanted to do in southwest Ireland. "The house is sited on a hill overlooking the water and harbor of Kinsale. It is a large property, plenty of room for kids to enjoy the outside. The house is comfortable and spacious. The house could use a few things to make a stay easier. Figuring out the appliances and washer is a task. The instruction books have been shredded to some degree over the years, and it took far too long to figure out the different appliances. Robert was incredibly communicative and helpful on all matters though there was nothing we needed for the house because he had it all! "Varun the host was great and readily available with any questions we had and we appreciated that we were able to check-in early. There was a problem with the wi-fi initially but Varun went out of his way to get it fixed as soon as possible.
